The course is for

Anyone who is new to running events, is planning larger scale events or wants to enhance the public image of the event.  Events cost a great deal of money to stage and getting it right is vital.  Nothing can beat good planning and organisation whatever the type of event.

Choosing  the type of event that is most appropriate to your focus

Finding the setting, deciding your equipment and setting the date

Assessing your needs for transport, venue and suppliers

Identifying your audience, making announcements & sending invitations

Creating the right atmosphere with catering, décor etc

Arranging transport, additional activities, accommodation, planning the agenda and setting times

Deciding speakers and managing their contribution

Supporting the guests and dealing with special requirements

Negotiating with suppliers
