Course Aims
For participants to produce a variety of business documents using the advanced features of Word to minimise time wastage and maximise software benefits.
The skills participants will develop will be to
Use the integrated features of Office applications
Produce standard letters for mailshots etc
Produce complex business documents with linked and embedded objects
Use automated routines to save time and present a consistent image
The course is for
Administrative and support staff and anyone who is responsible for producing business documents for internal or external clients with additional complexity through the use of data provided by other software applications or by additional stationery requirements.
Topics covered
Printing envelopes and labels
Using mailmerge
Tables, columns, lists, border and bullets
Designing and using macros
Designing templates and modifying existing templates
Inserting charts and tables from other applications either embedding or linking
